Elyse Brenner, a 7th grader at Rison Middle School, was named January student of the month for grades 7-9. Elyse is the daughter of Marietta Brenner. She is the granddaughter of Susan and John Cooke, and Judi and Charlie Brenner. She has one brother, Robert.
Her activities include playing percussion in the band, art/painting, cooking and baking.
Sarah Prescott, a senior at Rison High School, was named January student of the month for grades 10-12. Sarah is the daughter of Rodney and Kcristii Prescott. She is the granddaughter of Alfred and Dawn Cummings, and Anthony and Deborah Prescott. She has one sister, Alyssa.
Her activities and honors include Beta, FBLA, FCCLA and being an honor student.
