FORDYCE - Fordyce led by 21 at halftime and extended its lead in the third quarter as the Lady Redbugs rolled by the Woodlawn Lady Bears, 47-21, in 8-2A action last Friday at Redbug Arena.
The Lady 'Bugs were up 37-16 before extending that to a 50-24 lead by the start of the fourth quarter.
Anna Fitzgibbon had 10 points to lead the Lady Bears in scoring while Lillie McWhorter had eight.
Woodlawn fell to 1-7 in conference play with the loss and 5-15 overall. Fordyce stayed perfect in league action with an 8-0 conference mark and a 16-4 record overall.
Ouachita 47, Woodlawn 21
DONALDSON - Woodlawn fell behind by doubled digits by the end of the first quarter and the Ouachita Lady Warriors pulled away from there for a 47-21 win over Lady Bears last Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Ouachita.
Ouachita was up 17-6 by the end of the opening period and extended that lead to 27-12 by the halftime break.
Anna Fitzgibbon had 11 points to lead the Woodlawn scorers while Lillie McWhorter had seven.
