THORNTON - The U of A Division of Agriculture in Dallas County will sponsor an EIA Verification Class (for checking Coggins papers), Thursday, April 13 at 6 p.m. at the Chambersville Volunteer Fire Department (17168 Calhoun 72, Thornton, AR 71766).
This free class will provide knowledge about Equine Infectious Anemia; current Arkansas law as it pertains to EIA; and how to properly verify equine entering an event. All equine events in Arkansas are required to have an EIA verifier present to check Coggins papers of all horses entering the event.
