PARKERS CHAPEL - The Rison Wildcats track team placed in nine of 18 events at the Parkers Chapel Trojan Relays last week to finish seventh in the overall team standings.
Rison won one the 4x200 relay and finished second in two other events. Here is a recap of each event of the meet: • 4x100 Meter Relay Second place with a time of 46.21 secs. Team members included Bradyn Dupuy, Zakyler Walker, DJ Kines and Trevion Wainwright • 4x200 Meter Relay - First place with a time of 1:37.21. Team members included Bradyn Dupuy, Zakyler Walker, DJ Kines and Trevion Wainwright.
4x400 Meter Relay Seventh place with a time of 4:24.75. Team members included Keshawn Heard, Keenyon Davis, Steven Shaddock and Austin Ellis.
4x800 Meter Relay - Sixth place with time of 11:50.36. Team members included Keshawn Heard, Keenyon Davis, Steven Shaddock and Austin Ellis • 100 Meter Dash - Zakyler Walker finished fifth with a time of 11.88 secs.; DJ Kines finished eighth with a time of 12.03 secs.
3200 Meter Run - Coy Socia was seventh with a time of 16:00.51; Will Reed was eighth with a time of 19:00.
110 Meter Hurdles - Trey Ballard was seventh with a time of 20.47 secs.
Long Jump - Zakyler Walker was second with a distance of 18 ft., 11 in.
Triple Jump - Trey Ballard finished in a sixth place tie with a distance of 35 ft., 5 in.
