Rison High FBLA Headed to National Conference

RISON - April 3-4, 2023, 75 members of Rison High School FBLA and Mid-Level FBLA attended the State Leadership Conference in Little Rock, AR with approximately 4,000 other students from around the state. They attended sessions about entrepreneurship, college preparedness, online safety, and other important topics. Rison High School FBLA was awarded 5th largest chapter per market share of all high school clubs. Several teams advanced to the final round of competition. 8th grader Emma Ruth Mitchell placed 5th in Interpersonal Communication at the mid-level conference. The team of Juniors Andraya Spadoni and Amelia Stewart placed 4th in Business Plan; and the team of Sophomore Cayla Johnson, Sophomore Megan King, and Freshman Mallory Stuckey placed 4th in Introduction to Business Presentation. These two teams have earned the right to compete at the FBLA National Leadership Conference this summer in Atlanta, Georgia. ...
