WHS Spanish Club Hosting Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament

LITTLE ROCK - The Woodlawn High School Spanish program along with an Arkansas Community Partnership team will sponsor the 2nd Annual Tristen Daniel Miller Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held May 12 at Eagle Hill Golf Course and Athletic Club in Little Rock. Onsite registration and warm ups begin at 8 a.m. Entry fees are $400 per team for a four-person scramble. This covers course fees, cart, range balls and lunch. Three sponsorship levels are also available: Gold Level ($1,000)-includes two team entries, banner and hole sponsorship with sign; Silver Level ($500)-includes one team entry and hole sponsorship with sign; Bronze Level ($250)includes hole sponsorship with sign. Money raised will be used to sponsor scholarships for deserving Woodlawn seniors to pursue additional educational opportunities beyond high school. Two $1,000 scholarships were awarded last year. In addition, awareness for teenage mental health issues are highlighted while honoring the life of Tristen Daniel Miller. Registration is now open.
