Cruisin' Clevland County Bike Ride Set For June 17

RISON - Registration is now open for the inaugural Crusin' Cleveland County Bike Ride set for Saturday, June 17. The event is organized by the City of Rison, Cleveland County Officials, the Kickstart Cleveland County Community Development Initiative groups, and Darren Austin, a representative of Arkansas Parks and Tourism. The ride will consist of three route options that begin and end at the Pioneer Village at Rison (200 Yaney Street). Routes are 21, 29 and 44 miles and will take riders across the county. A separate fourth route being described as a smaller, fun ride within the city is being planned. The registration fee is $50 and includes a t-shirt and other items. More information, including rest stop locations and sponsors of the ride, will be announced soon.
