RISON - The Rison Wildcats finished third in the overall team standings at the Class 2A Region 8 Track Meet held last Wednesday, April 26, at Gurdon.
Gurdon was first in the team standings followed by Fordyce and Rison.
Rison had the following athletes earn All District for their performances at the district track meet and qualify to participate in the state track meeting held Tuesday, May 2, at Quitman: Zakyler Walker was All District in long jump, 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100 relay Trey Ballard was All District in the 110 meter hurdles Bradyn Dupuy was All District in the 4x100 relay DJ Kines was All District in the 4x100 relay Braylin Bennett was All District in the 4x100 relay James Mitchell was All District in 400 meters.
