RISON - Lillie Faye McWhorter, a sophomore pitcher and infielder for the Woodlawn Lady Bears, was named to the 2023 Class 2A All-State Softball Team, according to the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA).
McWhorter was the Lady Bears' leading homerun hitter this year, and also led Woodlawn in pitching victories and strikeouts during her second year of playing at the varsity level. Woodlawn won the 8-2A confernce and was also the Class 2A South Region champions.
