Nitro Joe Kicks Off Summer Programs at Sturgis Library

RISON - The Roy and Christin Sturgis Library will be kicking off the 2023 Summer Reading Program at 2 p.m. Monday, June 19, with Nitro Joe's Science Program. This is one of the most entertaining and interactive science shows that you've ever seen. Nitro Joe's energy keeps audience members fully engaged. Children of all ages are welcome to attend. Other special summer programs include: 2 p.m. Monday, June 26, the library will have Animalogy/ NHECM with live wildlife educational program 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, will be the Balloon Man with his magic show 1 p.m. Monday, July 17, the Kindersongs will present a children's concern 10 a.m. Monday, July 24, Lady Chops (Elizabeth Vidos) will bring her one-woman drumming show to the library to close out the summer program.
