RISON - The annual Cleveland County Fair will take place Sept. 13-16 at the fairgrounds in Rison, Fair Board President Roy Phillips has announced.
This year's fair will be highlighted by a Livestock Show on Thursday, Sept. 14, and the Miss Cleveland County pageant on Friday evening, Sept. 15. Little Miss and other pageants will be held the following morning, Saturday, Sept. 16. Starting times for all events will be announced later.
A full list of exhibit categories, entry schedule, as well as entry forms for the pageants, will be available in the Cleveland County Fair tabloid that is set to be released digitally later this week on clevelandcountyherald. com The new digital version of the fair tabloid will allow people to print off individual pages that pertain to the categories or events they are interested in. People will also be able to access and print off entry forms.
Once the digital tabloid is officially launched, the Cleveland County Herald and the Cleveland County Fair Association will announce it through their respective Facebook pages.
The tabloid will be available in the Special Sections area at bottom of the clevelandcountyherald.com website.
Phillips said a rodeo will be held two weeks later as a separate event, set for Sept. 29-30 at the Fairgrounds.
