Reverend Roy Donald (Don) Harris, of Benton entered Heavens portal on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Fannie Harris and one brother, Gene Harris, of Rison.
He served in the US Air Force and retired as a Missionary Baptist Minister. He was a faithful member of the West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 1/2 years, Cindy Harris; one son, James Phil Harris (JoAnne) of Salem and one daughter, Donna Garrett (Tim) of Benton; 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carroll Austin, Tim Garrett, Darren Austin, Todd Monk, Wade Garrett and Nicolas Harris.
Graveside services were Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Gravel Hill Cemetery on Hwy 9, Benton with Bro. David Harris and Bro. Gary Self officiating.
