KINGSLAND - Mayor Sharon Crosby announced Tuesday that she and others representing the City of Kingsland were meeting with board members from the West Saline Water Users Association in New Edinburg on Tuesday night, Jan. 10, to discuss a possible merger of the water systems.
During the December meeting of the Kingsland City Council, Crosby told the council that Kaleb Parker, water operator for West Saline and the interim water operator for the City of Kingsland, had informed her that the West Saline and Outside Kingsland Water Associations had voted to merge and wanted to invite the City of Kingsland to join them.
