WOODLAWN - T. Miller scored six of her team-high eight points in the fourth quarter to lead the Rison Junior Lady Wildcats to a 22-20 come-from-behind win over the Woodlawn Junior Lady Bears last Thursday, Jan. 25, at the Woodlawn Gym.
After going into halftime with a 9-7 lead, Woodlawn pushed its advantag be to 16-11 going into the fourth quarter. Rison responded with its best quarter of the game as Miller’s 3-pointerhelp fuel an 11-4 run that pushed the Junior Lady ‘Cats to victory.
Woodlawn’s P. Mack led all scorers with 13 points.
Both teams struggled at the free throw line with the Junior Lady Wildcats hitting just 4-of-22 attempts and the Junior Lady Bears just 1-of-10 attempts.
