William "Bubba" Harold Gill, Jr., 68, of Kingsland, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born on October 24, 1955, in Warren, he was a son of the late William Gill Sr. and Dorothy Granderson Gill.
Bubba was a member of First Assembly of God in Fordyce.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors includethree sisters, Debbie Mills and her husband David of Monticello, Darla Russell and her husband Tim of Kingsland, and DeAnna Upp and her husband Jim of Kingsland; nieces and nephews, Amber Hornaday and her husband Kevin of Kingsland, Adam Mills and his wife Jessica of Monticello, April Turner and her husband Brent of New Edinburg, Lance Hamilton of Bearden, Mitchell Hamilton and his wife Jessica of Kingsland, and Abbie Erwin and her husband Lathan of Fordyce; eight great nieces and nephews, his fur baby, Sam, and many friends.
Funeral services were Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. Nathan Hubbard, Rev. Kevin Hornaday, and Rev. Amber Hornaday. Burial was at Liberty Cemetery.
