Born in Rison Arkansas Nov 7, 1927 to the late Grady Evans and Birdie Lee (Rogers) Evans. There were three boys - Grady, Frank, Donald and one girl - Lillie.

David Guffy, Sr.

David D. Guffy, Sr, 80, of Rison, went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2022, at Arkansas Hospice within St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born March 5, 1942, in Hailey, Idaho to James Guffy, Sr and Mazie Rodgers. David was a graduate of Woodlawn High School.

Scooter Gwinn

Larry Lee “Scooter” Gwinn, Jr., 51, of Woodlawn went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. He was born October 22, 1970 in Fordyce, Arkansas. Scooter retired from the National Guard as a Staff Sergeant with the 39th Infantry Regiment, after 23 years of service and two tours in Iraq.

Vonda Jo Jarrell, 75 of Star City, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at her home. She was born November 3, 1946 in Dermott to the late Tracey and Aminell Davis Valentine.

Thomas Richard Bradley, “Poppy”, 93, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2022 at his family home.  He was born on March 3, 1929 in Bradley County, Arkansas to the late Marvin and Georgia McKinney Bradley.  He was also preceded in death by seven sisters and two brothers.

James Aubrey Huddleston, 88 of the Macedonia Community passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at home.  He was born July 25, 1934 in New Edinburg, AR to the late Charles Edward Huddleston and Mae McClellan Huddleston. He was a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church and a Mason.
