10  YEARS  AGOJANUARY  13,  2016Joshua Alan Brown, 16, of Rison, became the third suspect to be arrested in connection with the recent murder of Cherrish Faith Allbright, 22, of the Randall community, according to court records and the Cleveland County Sheriff's Department. Even though Brown is a juvenile, Sheriff Jack Rodgers said he will be tried as an adult. Brown is the third person to be arrested in the case. The other suspects are Jonathan Guenther, 20, and Brad Hunter Smith, 20, both of the Randall community. All three are charged with one count of capital murder, kidnapping and abuse of a corpse.A Little Rock-based consultant who has experience developing museums spoke with a group from Cleveland County Monday afternoon about developing a community museum at Kingsland that would promote the community's connection to country music legend Johnny Cash, as well as other notable people.The Cleveland County Spelling Bee was conducted Monday at Woodlawn Elementary School. The winner was Eli Ashcraft of Rison, with Ayden Laws of Kingsland, second, and Chloe Hargis of Woodlawn, third. Ashcraft will represent Cleveland County at the State Spelling Bee.The new Dollar General Store at the Highway 79-35 intersection in Rison officially opened for business Saturday morning to replace the company's store which had been located on the north end of Main Street here.
