POYEN - Tate Hall went 3for-4 to drive in three runs as the Woodlawn Bears beat the Poyen Indians, 11-1, in non-conferenct action Tuesday afternoon at Poyen.Woodlawn went up 3-0 in the top of the first off a bases-loaded walk to Jayden Wilmoth and a two-run single by Hall. Brayden Jones then had a two-out single in the second to extend it to 4-0.The Indians' run came in the bottom of the second off a single and an error to make it 4-1.The Bears answered in the top of the third as Dillon Lunsford tripled to drive in Hall, and Parker Arnold bourght in Lun-sofrd with a follow-up single, pushing Woodlawn's lead to 61.Hall had an RBI double in the fourth to make it 7-1 before the Bears plated four runs in the top of the fifth to invoke the 10-run rule. A lead-off double by Grant Coward followed by another double from Peyton Wells one out later resulted in one run. Garrett Weatherford drove in Wells with a single, and Jayden Wilmoth's fly scored another to make it 11-1.Poyen did put a runner on with one out in the bottom of the fifth, but the next two batters were re-tired to end the game.Woodlawn had four extra-base hits in the game with Lunsford stroking a triple, and Aidan Johnson, Cowart, Wells and Hall getting doubles. In addition to the three hits from Hall, Weatherford had two. Triston Bates pitched the first three innings to pick up the win. He gave up five hits with one walk and had two strikeouts.
