PARKERS CHAPEL - Some strong performances by the relay teams helped the Rison Junior Lady Wildcats finish third overall in the District Track Meet held last Tuesday, April 19, AT Parkers Chapel, Coach Zach Branch reported.
The 4x800 relay team consisting of Riley Hyatt, Madelyn Peyton, Kate Morrison and Ta'Niya Miller placed first with a time of 13:15.10.
The 4x400 relay team consisting of Josie Farrer, Rhagen Price, Ta'Niya Miller, and Malorie Scales placed first with a time of 4:50.22.
The 4x200 relay team consisting of LaKaylee Brunson, Josie Farrer, Eryja Marks, and Malorie Scales placed second with a time of 1:59.88.
The 4x100 relay team consisting of LaKaylee Brunson, Josie Farrer, Eryja Marks, and Malorie Scales placed second with a time of 55.29.
Rhagen Price won the 400 meter dash while Josie Farre was second. Malorie Scales was second in the 100 meter dash.
