MAGNET COVE - Laci Rauls tossed a three-hitter and struck out 14 as the Woodlawn Lady Bears used a late surge to pull away for a 4-0 win over the Magnet Cove Lady Panthers Monday to open 8-2A conference play.Anniston Wright gave Woodlawn a 1-0 lead in the third when she lead off with double before scoring on an error.The Lady Bears nursed that one-run lead until the top of the sixth when freshman Molly Shelby blasted a lead-off homerun.Woodlawn’s final two runs came in the top of the seventh when back-to-back singles by Jaci Hoyt and Kendall Tooke drove in the final two scores to make it 4-0.Rauls held the Lady Panthers to three hits and two walks while striking out 14 over seven innings.Woodlawn improved to 12-3 overall and 2-0 in conference with the win....
