Lady Wildcats Take Second in 8-2A With Wins Over Ouachita, Woodlawn

RISON - The Rison Lady Wildcats secured the no. 2 seed in this week's 8-2A District Tournament at Gurdon with a 42-32 victory over the Ouachita Lady Warriors Friday night at the Rison Gym. The Lady 'Cats wrapped up the regular season with a 17-10 record overall and an 8-4 mark in conference play. Rison tied Parkers Chapel in the final standings, but was awarded the no. 2 seed for the district tournament via the tie-breaker. Fordyce won the 8-2A regular season championship by going 12-0.
