BARTON - The Rison 7th grade Wildcats ended their season on a two-game winning streak by defeating the Barton 7th grade Bears, 20-8, Thursday evening of last week at Frank McClellan Field.
Michael Kanneh scored first for Rison on a 24-yard touchdown run, followed by a 35-yard TD scamper by Deion Jones. The Wildcats built their lead to 20-0 on a 22-yard touchdown dash by Kanneh, with Jones tacking on a 2-point conversion plunge.
Barton scored late in the game to avoid the shutout.
