RISON - The Rison High School senior girls track team competed in the Class 3A State track meet last Tuesday, May 5, at Ashdown. The 4x400 relay team of Josie Farrer, Rhagen Price, Kayla Jackson and Jazlyn Price placed 8th with a time of 4:39.36.Meanwhile, Madelyn Peyton placed 11th in the discus, and the 4x800 relay team of Bella Butler, Railynn Smith, Rhagen Price and Jazlyn Price placed 14th.District MeetThe Rison Lady Wildcats senior track team finished third at the District Track Meet recently held in McGehee. Individual results were: Kayla Jackson - 2nd place in the 800- and 1600-meter run.Maddie Peyton - 2nd place discus and 4th place in shot put.Teairra Miller - 3rd place in long jump.Bella Butler - 4th place in 1600 meter run. Rhagen Price - 4th place in 400 meters.Josie Farrer - 5th place in 400 meters.Jazlyn Price - 6th place in 400 meters.Addison Cornett - 7th place in discus. 4x800 relay team of Bella Butler, Railyn, Regan, and Jazlyn finished 1st. The 4x400 relay team of Josie Farrer, Rhagen Price, Kayla Jackson and Jazlyn Price finished 2nd. The 4x100 relay team of Eryja, Elissa, Mallory, and Teairra finished 4th and the same team finished 5th in the 4x200 relay. All first and second place finishers qualified for the state meet....
