BISMARCK - Twice last Friday night, Rison had momentum. Each time, though, in the blink of an eye, the excitement of gaining momentum was vanquished when Bismarck answered with a pair of kick returns for touchdowns.

BISMARCK - The Rison 7th grade Wildcats were strong on both sides of the football, as they opened their 2023 season by blanking the Bismarck Lions 7th grade team, 14-0, Thursday evening of last week. Logan McGarity had a couple of touchdown passes to Trent Southerland for the Wildcats.

Woodlawn To Face Genoa Central Next Friday, Sept. 15

WOODLAWN - Woodlawn Coach Zach Meyer announced Tuesday that the Bears will playing the Genoa Central Dragons rather than Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds for the varsity game at 7 p.m. next Friday, Sept. 15, at the Carl Jones Sports Complex.
BREAKOUT GAME FOR MOORE - Woodlawn junior quarterback/running b ack Aden Moore (no. 10) left elude the tackle of Praire View's Will Waggoner (no. 51) and Hayden Little (no. 6). Moore, who saw limited action as last year's back-up quarter, had a breakout game as he rushed for 106 yards with an 83-yard touchdown run and completing a 52-yard touchdown pass to Ethan Adair. Moore played both quarterback and I back in the game.
