Rison Methodist Food Pantry Saturday

RISON - Rison United Methodist Church will be hosting a food pantry from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 28.  The church holds its food pantry the fourth Saturday of each month.

Toys for Tots Accepting Donations for Local Counties

PINE BLUFF - Toys for Tots, a 77-year-old National charitable Program with a local touch, provides year-round joy, comfort, and hope to economically disadvantaged children across the Nation through the gift of a new toy, tool, game, or book.

Maycee Johnson, an 8th grader at Rison Middle School was named September Student of the Month for the 7th-9th grades. Maycee is the daughter of Jodie and Steve Johnson.

Jones-Sheldon Plan Reunion for Oct. 5

STAVES - The Jones-Sheldon Reunion will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, at the “Y” Community Center at Staves. Friends and family are invited to begin gathering at about 10 a.m. with a potluck lunch served about noon.

Story Time Begins Oct. 1 at Library
