Woodlawn Accepts Bid for Cafeteria Project

WOODLAWN - The Woodlawn School Board approved a bid of $1,232,633 from Brody Richardson Construction of Sheridan during a special meeting Tuesday night to expand the dining area and renovate the kitchen in the school cafeteria.

RISON - Patrick “Pat” Berry of the Calmer community has been appointed by Gov. Sarah Sanders to complete the unexpired term of the late District 6 Justice of the Peace Owen Rushing, who passed away on Dec. 6, 2025.Berry, 78, will serve on the Cleveland County Quorum Court through Dec. 31, 2026.
