The Rison Fire Department welcomed third-grade students from Rison Elementary Friday morning for a special program as October is Fire Prevention Month. The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office also joined to visit with the students.
"We enjoyed talking with them about fire safety and giving them an opportunity to check out our firefighting equipment! We encourage everyone to take time to review fire safety with their families and make sure they have a home fire escape plan," said Fire Department representatives.
As a reminder, all of Cleveland County remains under a burn ban. Please help us keep our community safe!
