    Pressure Canning Workshop Set for Oct. 30 in Fordyce

    FORDYCE - A pressure canning vegetables workshop will be held Friday, Oct. 30, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Dallas County Extension Office, 203 N. Clifton, Suite A, in Fordyce.

    The workshop is co-hosted by Dallas County FCS Agent JoAnn Vann and Cleveland County FCA Agent Austin Compton.

    The hands-on workshop will teach participants how to safely pressure-can vegetable products. The cost is $10 per person, and the deadline to register is Tuesday, Oct. 27.
