RISON - Rison Shine is seeking community volunteers to assist with the upcoming Rison in the Fall Festival, scheduled for October 9–10, 2026.
Anyone with an hour or two to spare can help with event setup, traffic control, merchandise sales, trash pickup, and other essential tasks.
A planning, task assignment meeting, and dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Rison Church of Christ.
Interested volunteers who are unable to attend the meeting can email risoninthefall@gmail.com to sign up.
Festival Director Douglas Boultinghouse encourages students and parents to utilize the festival as an opportunity to earn required volunteer hours for both Rison and Woodlawn schools.
