RISON - Those who use Hwy. 133 north of Rison to commute to Pine Bluff may have run into some traffic delays recently as paving has begun to connect the three new bridges that were built to cross over the Big Creek bottoms. The Arkansas Department of Transportation announced in February 2022 that hit had awarded nearly $7.7 million to replace the three bridges over Big Creek. Once completed, there will be a straight road connecting all three bridges rather than having a curve accessing the northing-most bridge.
