PINE BLUFF - Kevin Wooley, formerly of Woodlawn, was honored September 27 in a Quilt of Valor Ceremony at the Fairgrounds in Pine Bluff. A Quilt of Valor is awarded to a Service Member or Veteran who has been touched by war. The quilt says unequivocally "Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation."Kevin retired from the U.S. Air Force with 24 years of service. He has participated in numerous Operation and Wars including Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom and the repatriation of U.S. Servicemembers remains from the Vietnam War. Kevin retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. Kevin is the son of Lynn and the late Irene Wooley of Woodlawn. ...
