Backyard Workshop Friday in Rison

RISON - The Soil and Water Conservation Society will host a Backyard Conservation Workshop Friday, May 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds, 309 Mockingbird Lane in Rison.Learn how to incorporate conservation and enhance wildlife in your backyard. There will be a Q-and-A with experts and resources for all things conservation and wildlife.Speakers include Leslie Cooper, Arkansas Monarch and Pollinator Coordinator; Stephanie Clingenpeel, Biologist with Quail Forever; David West, University of Arkansas Extension Agent for Cleveland County; Karen Bell Fox with Bee-Cause Pollinators Feed the World; and Bailey Darnell with Natural Resources Conservation Service.For questions, contact Bailey Darnell at (870) 352-2630.
