Cruisin’ Bike Ride, Car Show Is This Saturday

RISON - The fourth annual Cruisin’ Cleveland County Bike Ride is set for this Saturday, June 6. The ride includes various routes at 21, 29, 44 and 65 mile lengths, plus a revamped 30-mile gravel route.The ride begins for all road routes at 7 a.m. at the Pioneer Village at Rison, 200 Yaney Drive, with the gravel ride kicking off from the school campus in Kingsland.Gravel riders will finish in Kingsland and then drive to the Pioneer Village for the post ride meal and entertainment.People who live along the routes are encouraged to watch for riders passing by to cheer them on and show their support.Additionally, if any pet owners on the routes have dogs running loose, they are asked to please be outside with their dogs, or put them up the morning of the ride.Registration is open online at RunSignUp.com through 5 p.m. Friday, June 5.
