Government Offices Adjust Hours For Holidays

RISON - Local government offices will be adjusting their hours over the next two weeks to observe the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Both the Cleveland County Courthouse and the City of Rison offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26 for Christmas, as well as Monday, Jan. 2 for the New Year.

The Cleveland County Solid Waste Transfer Station will be closed on the following dates: Friday, Dec. 23 through Tuesday, Dec. 27; and Dec. 31 through Jan. 3.

The United States Postal Service will observe the holidays on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2, so mail will not be delivered on those dates.
