KINGSLAND - Kingsland will break ground this Saturday, July 18 at 12 noon on a new outdoor amphitheater at Kingsland Heritage Park (formerly the school playground), marking the start of construction on a permanent home for live music and community events in Cleveland County.
The project, led by Kickstart Kingsland, has been years in the making — designing a band shell that will anchor the space for generations to come. The amphitheater will serve as the centerpiece for the Get Rhythm Music Festival, set for September 26, 2026, headlined by Scott Moreau.
Mayor Samantha Johnson invites community members to attend Saturday’s groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate this milestone for Kingsland and to learn more about how they can support the project going forward.
