RISON - To help raise the funds for its new Heritage Hall project, the Pioneer Village is locking up some members of the community in its jail Thursday, Aug. 27 in conjunction with a Leon’s Catfish Dinner from 4 to 7 p.m.
Tickets for the Fish Fiy are $20 and include three-pieces of fish (or chicken), fries, slaw and hush puppies.
Only a limited number of tickets will be sold and can be purchased at My Berry Patch, the Cleveland County Herald, or by contacting Village members.
Notable community members will be required to raise a minimum bail of $250 each to be released from jail during the Jail-N-Bail event. Rison Mayor Charles Roberts, incoming County Judge Jim Houston, Pharmacist Lynn Wilson are among those with warrants.
