Wildcats Run Past Junction City, 58-38

Kyson Walker and Aidan Bitely both combined for 252 yards rushing and seven touchdowns as the Rison Wildcats turned back the Junction City Dragons, 58-38, Friday night at George Walker Field of Champions. Rison led 42-18 at halftime on the strength of three touchdown runs by Bitely and two b Walker. Sophomore quarterback Logan McGarity had a 59-yard scramper for a TD as well. The Wildcats let 42-18 at the half but the Dragons recovered an onside kick to start the third quarter and put up two scores to close it to 42-32. Rison answered on Bitely’s 10-yard run in the fourth and the ‘Cats pulled away from there. Rison improved to 3-0 with the non-conference win. The Wildcats open 8-3A conference play Friday night at Helena.
