Jesse Roy Hill was born March 26th, 1953, in Pine Bluff AR to the late McClinton Hill Sr. and Alta Segrest. He was the fifth child of eleven children.
He departed from this life and entered Eternal rest on Thursday January the 2nd 2025. He departed from Greenhouse Cottages in Rison, Arkansas.
Jesse graduated from Rison High School In 1971 where he played football for the Rison Wildcats. He joined the Air Force soon after graduating high school. He accepted Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church. He was employed by Tyson Foods where he went on to work over 30 years until his retirement
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, brother, McCinton Hill Jr., sister, Dorothy Thompson, and an infant brother.
He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife of 53 years, Becky Hill, of Rison, AR, one daughter, Jessica Hill of Rison, AR. Two sons, Darius Hill, of Rison, AR, Damon (Heather) Hill of Hot Springs, Ar. One brother, O.V. Ball of Pine Bluff, AR, six sisters; Bessie Jackson of Chicago, Il, Hattie Hill and Martha Hill of Chicago, Il, Viola Smith (Lawrence) of Rison, Marie (Otis III) Rowe of Las Vegas, NV, Ollie Urquehart of Pine Bluff, Ar. One aunt, Arnetta Mabry, of Flint, MI, and one uncle, Jacob Segrest of Gary, IN. Seven grandchildren, Four great grandchildren, Three God grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, January 19, 2025, at First Missionary Baptist Church Rison, AR by Pastor Terry Reams, Sr.
Interment in New Cemetery Rison, Arkansas by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR.
