Miller Scores 34 To Pace Lady Wildcats’ Win

RISON - Tee Miller scored 34 points as the Rison Lady Wildcats started strong and finished stronger in a 53-26 blowout of the Smackover Lady Buckaroos Monday night at the Rison gym.Miller got off to a red-hot start for the Lady ‘Cats, going 6-for-6 at the free throw line to finish with 10 points in the opening frame as Rison went up 12-2. Smackover finally found some buckets in the second quarter as they cut the Lady Wildcat lead to 21-14 by the half.Rison, however, took control over the final two periods, outscoring the Lady Bucks by a combined 34-12. The Lady Wildcats had 21 points in the fourth quarter fueled by a couple of treys from Miller and another from Mady Peyton.Miller finished the night with three 3-pointers and made 7-of-8 free throws. Peyton followed her in scoring with seven.Rison improved to 3-4 overall with the non-conference win.Rison 56, Camden Harmony Grove 26FORDYCE - Three Lady Wildcats scored in double figures as Rison got off to a great start and never looked back as they hammered the Camden Harmony Grove Lady Hornets, 56-26, on Dec. 3, in the Fordyce Tournament.Tee Miller, who had a game-high 19 points for the Lady ‘Cats, scored nine points in the opening quarter as Rison bolted out to a 17-4 lead. The Lady Wildcats pushed that to a 32-15 margin by halftime.Rison outscored Harmony Grove 24-11 in the second half.In addition to the 19 from Miller, Malorie Scales finished with 14 while Ella Green scored 10. ...
