Bobby Terry Golf Tournament Raises $6k for Booster Club

RISON - The Bobby Lee Terry Memorial Golf Tournament hosted its second annual event last month, with an increase in participation raising its charitable donation to $6,000.Organizers Keden Shrum and Cordero Fuentes, alongside Terry’s family Nora Terry and Kristy Lowery, presented the donation to Dustin Prescott for the Rison Booster Club.According to Shrum, the tournament included 22 teams, bringing the total player count to 88. The boost raised the inaugural event’s charitable donation from $2,500 in 2025.This year’s tournament was sponsored by Gateway Bank, Wilson Bros. Lumber Company, Rison Pharmacy, MK Distributors, Jax’s Jigs, Cleveland County Auto Parts, Shelter Insurance Agent Chase McCollum, Edward Jones Advisor Jacob Wilson, SEARK Smiles Family Dentistry, Rison Church of Christ, Corner Express, Grand Master Han’s Martial Arts Rison Academy, Edwin Watts Golf, Dixon Golf, Cleveland County Herald, Rison Shine, James and Karla Wilson, Harrell and Holley Wilson, Cordero and Maddie Fuentes, Keden and Chandra Shrum.The third annual tournament has been scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2027 at Harbor Oaks Golf Club in Pine Bluff....
