Jerry Wayne York, 71, of Camden died Monday, June 22, 2026 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden, Arkansas.
He was born November 7, 1954 in Thornton, Arkansas. He was a retired sawmill worker.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wayne York and Davelene Butcher Childers; step-parents, Burl Childers and Joe Ella York. Jerry is survived by three brothers, David (Rhonda) Childers of Pineville, LA, David L. York and John York of Rison; one sister, Lisa (Billy) Boutte of Bearden; five nephews, Hunter Smith of Pineville, LA, BJ Smith of Gonzales, LA, David Wayne York of Greenbrier, Michael Ritchie of Russellville, Joey Crawford of Warroad, MN; three nieces, Rebecca Childers Coker of Dry Prong, LA, Regina Childers Vanover of Clarksville, Stacey Daughtery of Guy; several great nieces and great nephews; and a host of other friends and family.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
