LITTLE ROCK - Effective July 1, all persons 16 years old or older who do not hold a current hunting or fishing license or plan to purchase one, and plan to use Arkansas Game & Fish Commission(AGFC)-owned wildlife management areas and/or lakes must have an annual AGFC WMA/Lake Conservation Permit to do so.
This includes using these areas for recreational activities like hiking, birding, paddling, camping, etc. The permits, which costs $10.50, can be purchased online at AGFC.com, via the official AGFC mobile app, or at any authorized hunting and fishing license retailer (such as local bait shops, outdoor stores, or sporting goods stores).
All hunting or fishing licenses will include access to all AGFC-owned wildlife management areas and lakes. Those who possess a hunting or fishing license do not need to purchase an annual AGFC WMA/Lake Conservation Permit.

Dunklin Jr. Bayou Meto, Harold E.
