WOODLAWN - The Woodlawn Bears will not be playing a varsity game this week but the Woodlawn Junior Bears are still hosting the Augusta Junior Red Devils at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at the Carl Jones Sports Complex.
Both the varsity and junior teams were scheduled to play Augusta this Friday but the school announced it would not field a varsity team this year due to low numbers.
Woodlawn Coach Doug Means announced that Woodlawn’s varsity and junior high teams have added the Rose Bud Ramblers to the schedule for Friday, Sept. 11. The junior high teams start at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity teams at 7 p.m.
