Dorothy Jacks “MawMaw” Green, 84, of Pine Bluff, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
Born October 27, 1941, in Rison, Arkansas, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Clyde Issac Jacks and Ora Bet Greenlee Jacks. She grew up in the Woodlawn community and graduated from Woodlawn School in Arkansas.
Dorothy lived a life centered on family, friendship, laughter, and love. She worked for many years alongside her husband, Maurice, with Miracle Maid and later served as an activity director at Trinity Village. Her caring spirit and love for people were evident throughout her life and in the way she made everyone around her feel welcome.
Dorothy loved to dance, laugh, and simply have fun. She enjoyed life and believed in sharing that joy with others. No one left her home without tea, something to eat, or a full belly. Affectionately known as “MawMaw,” Dorothy had a special gift for making people feel loved and cared for. Her heart seemed big enough for everyone she met, and her family will always remember her as truly one of a kind.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maurice Green; her parents; siblings, Billy Earl Jacks, Ray Jacks, Kathy Moyers, Genyce Burr, and Eloise Stewart; sister-in-law, Marion Jacks; brother-in-law, Robert “Bob” Moyers; daughter, Marsha Rushing; granddaughter, Maranda Goldman; great-granddaughter, Sophie Wilson; and nephew, Chris Moyers.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Mark (Candice) Green and Sandy Goldman; brother, Harvey (Marie) Jacks; sister-in-law, Jane Jacks; and grandchildren, Josh (Sonia) Rushing, Brittany Rushing, Marissa Goldman, Heather (Justin) Wilson, Houston (Whittney) Rushing, Ashton (Daniel) Maddox, Alyssa (Travis) Phipps, Drake Green, Walter (Bre) Wilson, Waylon Wilson, and Ethan Long.
She also leaves behind her treasured great-grandchildren, Bryleigh Billings, Noah Lovelace, Lynleigh Wilson, Adi Mae Wilson, Lincoln Wilson, Scarlett Rushing, River Rushing, Emerald Maddox, Patience Eubanks, Kaine Rushing, John Michael Phipps, Addyson Phipps, Warren Wilson, Easton Billings, and Holden Billings.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Reverend Sammy Alverson officiating.
Interment will follow in Cypress Memorial Gardens.

Dorothy's legacy will live on in the laughter she shared, the family she cherished, the friends she loved, and the countless people who were fortunate enough to know her.
To know Mawmaw was to be loved by her, and that love will never be forgotten.
