RISON - The Bismarck Junior High Lions scored touchdowns on the first play of the game, the last play of the first half and the last play of the contest to go along with three other TDs in roaring past the Rison Junior High Wildcats, 44-6, at George Walker Field of Champions Thursday night of last week.
It was the season opener for Rison, which has a roster of 26 players - nine ninth graders and 17 eighth graders.
Quarterback Kyson Walker scored the Wildcats’ only touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 61-yard run.
Rison is scheduled to play at England Thursday night in another non-conference game at 7 o'clock before starting 6-3A Conference action Sept. 15 at Drew Central.
