Linda Kay Bowden Fox, 80, of Bradenton, Florida went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2022, while at Green House Cottages of Rison, Arkansas.
Bom June 9th, 1942, in Pine Bluff,Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late Sterling Arthur Bowden and Cordelia ‘Sally’ Bowden.
She was a retired meat wrapper previously employed by Mad Butcher and Safeway. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and best friend to her family whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed spending time and playing games with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Roger Bowden and Charles Bowden.
Survivors include her sister, Barbara Bowden Knight of Heber Springs, sister-in-law Barbara Bowden of New Edinburg; one son, Charles Lynn Calley and wife Nancy of White Hall; three daughters, Pamela Kay Brown and husband Glen of New Edinburg; Glenda Willis and husband Leon of Parrish, Florida; Patricia Manning and husband David of WeUimpka, Alabama.
She had a loving group of grandchildren including Bobby Griffin of Henderson, Nevada, Jenny Brown of Fayetteville, Brittany Meyer of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Eric Brown of Malvern, Jennifer Freeman of Hot Springs, Cory Blair of Placerville, California, Holly Davis of Monticello; Charles Lynn Calley, Jr. of Colorado. She had six greatgrandchildren, Kaylin Weiskopf, Kathryn Recanati, Claire Wallace, Noah Brown, Paxton Freeman, and Lily Griffin.
Services wereTuesday, November 15, 2022 at Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Reaves Cemetery with Brother Dwayne Ashcraft officiating.
