RISON - The Rison Lady Wildcats are off to a 2-2 start this season with wins against Carlisle and Class 5A White Hall while falling to Class 4A perennial powerhouse Star City and Class 4A Magnolia.
The Lady 'Cats opened the year with a 52-29 drubbing of the Carlisle Lady Bison on the road back on Nov. 7. They followed that with a 45-27 shellacking of the White Hall Lady Bulldogs on Nov 8.
Rison suffered its first loss of the season last Thursday in a 4734 setback at Star City before suffering another setback on Tuesday night when visiting Magnolia, 57-29.

Rison continues its non-conference schedule with another road trip this Thursday, Nov. 17, to Dermott. The junior and senior girls teams are scheduled to play starting at 5 p.m.
After taking off the week of the Thanksgiving break, the Lady Wildcats return to action by playing in the Magnet Cove Tournament Nov. 28 through Dec. 3.
