Patience Johnson

Body

Sister Patience Lenora Johnson, 45, departed this life on December 2, 2022 at her home in Kingsland, Arkansas.

She was bom July 7,1977 in Fordyce, Arkansas to the late Jerry King and Rose Mary Johnson.

She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of First Baptist Kingsland until her death.

Patience was a proud graduate of the Kingsland High School Class of 1996. Although quiet, Patience's presence was always felt, especially at family gatherings and at church. She could easily be found sitting quietly watching one of her favorite television shows, it did not matter if she was home or visiting with family in their home. While quiet most of her life, in the last few years Patience became an active participant in the First Step program where she enjoyed learning new skills and socializing with new friends.

Patience is preceded in death by her mother and father, and her grandmother, Leola McCoy who raised and cared for her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one brother, Christopher (Sherrell), Triplett, one sister, Subrina Highsmith, and two aunts Charletta Smith of Kingsland, AR and Lynn McCamey of Maumelle, AR. She also leaves to cherish her memory, a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services were held Tuesday, December 13,2022 at First Baptist Church in Kingsland with Rev. Raymond Davis officiating. Interment followed in St. John Cemetery at New Edinburg.

Active pallbearers were Terry King, John H. Johnson, Jr., Edward Smith, Chris Nelson, Benard Brooks and Marcus Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were John H. Johnson, Sr., Chasen Thompson, Robert Grandy and Chris Leaks.

The family wishes to thank everyone for all your prayers, kind thoughts, uplifting words, and your acts of service during our time of bereavement.
