Ms. Lucille Brown, 72 of Rison, Arkansas passed away on December 24. 2022.
Lucille was Born on February 24, 1950, to the late Richard Brown Sr and Lucy Ann Roberts-Brown in Augusta, Arkansas. She graduated from Carver High School and later attended Harding University.
Lucille worked for the Chicago Public School System. After returning to Arkansas, she worked as an aide for Cleveland County Nursing Home but obtained her License Practical Nurse’s degree from Pines Vo-Technical School. She worked as an LPN for Cleveland Co. Nursing Home, Davis Nursing home and Green House Cottages until she retired.
Lucille loved her family dearly and enjoyed capturing precious moments in a photo. She was a talented seamstress, she loved to sew for her family. Lucille was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers (Richard Brown, Jr. and Billy Ray Brown) and one sister (Carolyn Jean Brown-Johnson).
Lucille is survived by her four children: James (Ashley) Smith II, Anthony Smith, Theresa Smith and La Shon (Mark) Wells. Seven brothers: Robert Brown, James (Patricia) Brown, Calvin (Eleanor) Brown, Willie Brown, Almos Louis “A.L.” (Joyce) Brown, Michael Brown, and Edward (Carmen) Brown; four sisters: Edna (Andrew) Roshell, Ruby (Grant) Long, Priscilla Ann Brown, and Brenda Brown. Eighteen Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
