DONALDSON - Parkers Chapel used a strong third quarter to overcome a one-point halftime deficit as the Junior Trojans knocked off the Woodlawn Junior Bears, 36-32, in the 8-2A Junior High District Tournament Saturday at Ouachita High School.
Woodlawn was the no. 2 seed in the tournament while Parkers Chapel was the no. 3 seed.
Woodlawn led 11-7 after the first quarter and was up 17-16 at the half when Parkers Chapel moved in front with a 12-5 third quarter.
The Junior Bears managed to trim a little off that lead in the fourth but the Junior Trojans held on for the win.
Jake Allred had 23 points to lead Woodlawn in scoring. The Junior Bears finished the season with a 12-10 record.
